What is 'Runners Edge'?
Runners Edge?
Runner’s Edge is a specialty service within Athlete’s Edge Physiotherapy, dedicated to the assessment, rehabilitation, and performance development of runners across all levels. It integrates running-specific physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, gait retraining, and evidence-based return-to-run programming within the broader Athlete’s Edge rehab and performance model. Runner’s Edge also serves as an education platform, delivering structured running education, injury prevention strategies, and performance insights. Together, it provides a clear pathway from running injury to confident, durable, high-performance running.
Runners Edge is led by Athlete's Edge directors, Ky Wynne and Emma Hoy. Both are Melbourne-based physiotherapists, running specialists, and exercise scientists with over a decade of experience working with endurance and team sport athletes.
They have helped hundreds of runners — from first-time 5k participants to elite marathoners — move better, recover from running injuries, and build sustainable performance through evidence-based training methods.
They consult clinically out of Athlete's Edge Physiotherapy in Melbourne (and online) combining advanced biomechanical testing, data-driven rehab, and running performance coaching to create long-term results for runners across Melbourne and the Bayside area.
